Hi! I’m David. Words that describe me are inclusion, creativity, engagement, justice, curiosity and collaboration.

I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, coming of age at the end of the apartheid era. I recently co-founded the U.S. office of Hands and Feet to help friends in the States make a difference in the lives of impoverished families in Cape Town. Please check it out, it’s a really exciting venture!

I serve as the associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights (FUMCAH) in the North West suburbs of Chicago.

My wife, Kathryn and I have been married 20 years. We have two wise and beautiful kids, Gavin and Addy.
