LGBTQIA+ Resources

I think many Christians wrestle with wanting to love and accept the people of the LGBTQIA+ community, but feel that the teachings of scripture are clear. Many in the church believe that if queer people live fully into their queer identities, their lifestyle will be incompatible with Christian doctrine.

But what if the love of Jesus didn’t just mean come as you are, but be as you are, as God created you to be? What if being gay or living in a loving same sex marriage is not a sin? What if being trans is the most honest expression of how God created you to be?

If you haven’t yet engaged with the resources on this page, I invite you to explore what God may be saying to you.

I once was in a place where I didn’t know many queer people and wasn’t an ally or a safe person for the LGBTQIA+ community. I still have a long way to go. These resources are ones that have helped me, including a telling of my own story.
